We also supply equipment that can be used alongside our high quality needle products. These suture attaching machines are available to purchase and have been designed to operate both functions of crimping and curving in a single set up. This is suitable for use with atraumatic needles.

General

The machine features a pneumatically actuated lever and this has adjustable features including the stroke and pressure applied. This can help to greatly reduce the difficulties when attaching surgical suture needles, as well as minimising risk of the suture being created incorrectly and becoming unsafe for use. 

Special Feature

The lower tool holder is pre-equipped with a suture guide, which is extremely helpful for the operator of the machine. This helps them follow the correct procedure when inserting the suture end into the drilled hole at flat end of the needle. Without this, the process can be extremely difficult and result in poor quality products that will be unsuitable for any type of application. This suture guide feature is also invaluable in helping to ensure that all of sutures are a uniform length when they are inserted into the drilled hole.

Mounting

This machine is designed to be mounted onto a countertop or table to ensure that it is stable and secure. Once the machinery is in a fixed position it will be possible to adjust the settings without the risk of them becoming misaligned or knocked if the machine could be moved.

Accessories

Machine is supplied complete with both upper and lower tool holders. It also has all of the pneumatic fittings required to connect the machine and make it operational such as foot pedal, filter-regulator-lubricator unit, polyurethane high pressure tubing and connectors. Bolts and nuts for mounting the machine on the table are also provided.


Note:  Crimping & Curving tools as required for different types & sizes of needles
have to be purchased separately.
